SW Durham Family Medicine

Navigating healthcare can be a frustrating process – especially when you never see the same doctor or provider twice, wait weeks for an appointment, and sit endlessly in the waiting room.

Now you can get the care you deserve.

Dr. Tiffany Marum

Dr. Marum graduated from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 1998. She completed her training in family medicine at the Medical College of Virginia.  She moved to Durham in 2003 and established SW Durham Family Medicine in 2005. She has been providing primary care to all ages since then.

Tiffany loves animals, gardening, travel, and theater. She also enjoys spending time with her children and extended family.

Kate Kulenic, FNP

Kate Kulenic graduated from UNC – Chapel Hill’s Family Nurse Practitioner program. Her nursing career includes six years of emergency/trauma nursing at Mission Hospital in Asheville and WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh. Kate enjoys the world of primary care and is excited to be working with families and patients of all ages to promote healthy living.

Kate is a native of Northern Virginia but has made North Carolina her home since coming down to play women’s lacrosse at UNC in 1997. Kate and her family make sure to spread their Tarheel pride in the Bull City.

Elizabeth Aronin, ANP

Elizabeth “Liz” Helen Aronin has over 7 years of experience in the field of medicine. She graduated with honors in 2015. Liz is from Massachusetts originally and moved to NC in 1998 to attend Duke University. Outside of work she enjoys running and spending time with her family.

The SW Durham Health Care Avantage

Why Healthcare Memberships?

In this “Direct Patient Care Practice”, insurance policies are not dictating the type of care we deliver to our members.  We are able to see far fewer members than would be practical with a traditional primary care practice. Instead of spending hours dealing with insurance requirements, I am able to spend that time and more discussing your life and your health.

Now, with video appointments, you have the ability to see your doctor from wherever you are, saving you travel time as well as the typical wait times to see the doctor once you get there.

You are guaranteed the time you need to get the care you deserve.

The result? We build a trusted relationship where your doctor gets to know you, provides you with the individualized care needed to resolve your current healthcare concern, and will partner with you to keep you healthy going forward.
